Anti-Ragging Policy

MIT-MIPS maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Understanding Ragging

What is Ragging?

Ragging is any disorderly conduct, whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating, or handling with rudeness any student.

It includes any act that causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or a sense of fear or embarrassment to a student.

Punishment for Ragging

Cancellation of admission
Suspension from attending classes
Fine up to ₹25,000
Rustication from the institution
Compliance

Anti-Ragging Affidavit

All students and parents must submit an anti-ragging affidavit at the beginning of each academic year.
